Woodbridge Kart Club has announced the club’s 2021 schedule of events.
For the second year in a row, the WKC slate includes four events at Summit Point Motorsports Park – two on the Main Circuit and two on the Shenandoah Circuit – and a September season closer with AKRA and Dart Kart Club at Pittsburgh International Race Complex.
The new season will open April 17-18, 2021, at Summit’s 1.6-mile Shenandoah Circuit. WKC will return to action one month later on May 22-23 for the season’s first visit to Summit’s traditional 2.0-mile Main Circuit.
Summer events include a second visit to the Shenandoah Circuit July 10-11 and an August 21-22 shared event with Formula Race Promotions at Summit Main.
For the third year in a row the AKRA / Dart Kart Club national event at Pittsburgh will be a points event for the WKC series. This three-day event takes place September 24-26.
The 2021 schedule is basically identical to WKC’s 2020 originally planned five-race slate before the first two races of the season were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Updates on series affiliations for each date are to be announced. For more information on WKC, visit their official website at woodbridgekartclub.com.
