CONCORD, N.C. – After an exhaustive review of all tire brands available in the United States, Vega has been selected as the tire choice for World Karting Association (WKA) sprint programs. With Daytona KartWeek now in the rear-view mirror and the rest of the 2021 season on the horizon, WKA officials are pleased to finally confirm the switch to the Vega brand.
“We spent a great deal of time and care to consider all available tire providers in the United States,” expressed Kevin Williams. “Not only is the Vega brand a long-time, proven global brand, but TS Racing is one of the many karting supporters that share the same core values as WKA to ensure the WKA Karter is well provided for.”

The WKA Manufacturers Cup, Charlotte Motor Speedway Club Series and WKA America programs will utilize the Vega compound.
Tire compounds and a newly established Vega distribution and warehouse network to better serve dealers will be announced next week.
“TS Racing and Vega Tires have been long-time supporters of WKA,” added Tod Spaude. “We are confident the world-renowned Vega Tire brand will well serve the WKA Sprint programs on all levels and are excited for a new beginning with WKA and Vega tires.”
